Applications for the Regional Tourism Bushfire Grants program is now open.
Austrade is administering the $10 million program which will provide funds to Local Government Authorities and Regional Tourism Organisations.
“The Regional Tourism Bushfire Recovery Grants program will have two funding streams which, together, will support events, concerts, festivals and visitor attractions in fire-affected regions to assist with recovery efforts and encourage international and domestic visitors to come back to the regions.”
There are two grant streams available to eligible organisations. Those in stream one can receive up to $30,000. Organisations in stream two receive a scalable amount dependant on their project.
