Destination NSW (DNSW) operate over 25 social media channels, promoting awareness of Sydney and Regional NSW destinations, attractions, experiences and key events to consumers in domestic and international markets. DNSW aim to create communities of highly passionate and loyal followers who want to know and share information about NSW.

Destination NSW – Media Visits
Home to shimmering Sydney Harbour, red earth deserts, mountain ranges, rugged coastline and pristine beaches, NSW offers the essential Australian experience in just one state.
Destination NSW organises individual and group media tours to Australian and international media so they can produce stories to inform and inspire their audiences. Visits are coordinated by Destination NSW publicists and are supported by NSW tourism operators who provide assistance with accommodation, meals, transport and touring.
Media assisted through the program represent online, print and broadcast outlets and reach audiences targeted by Destination NSW. Coverage that results from the visit is collected, evaluated and distributed to sponsoring partners.

Destination NSW – Media Kit
Publicity is a major component of Destination NSW’s domestic and international marketing programs. It can be highly effective in building brand appeal, encouraging motivation to travel and delivering tactical messages around product and pricing. Destination NSW has a team of in-house publicists who coordinate activities to engage a range of different media. Programs include hosting visiting media; managing media relationships; conducting global outreach activities to pitch stories to media; implementing promotional events; and developing media resources.
