About Penny
Penny is a consultant in sustainable tourism and destination development, visitor experience, infrastructure, and tourism business and investment planning throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific Region.
Penny works with national and local governments, private sector, community organizations, indigenous communities, and NGOs on destination development. She has worked on destination development projects in every State and Territory and has led the planning and management of many regional destinations including Central Coast, Wollongong, Ballarat, Great Ocean Road/12 Apostles, Phillip Island, Fraser Coast, Shark Bay/Ningaloo, Abrolhos Islands and Tasmania. She has also worked extensively in New Zealand and in the Asia Pacific Region including Niue, Cook Islands and Mongolia.
Penny has won numerous awards for the design and delivery of sustainable tourism projects. She is a member of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) and she is a certified practitioner in sustainable tourism.
When she is not traveling around the world, Penny lives on a small acreage on the Molonglo River just out of Queanbeyan and enjoys her coastal hideaway at Moruya Heads on the South Coast.
