Further Support Announced for Small Business From July 1

June 30, 2020

The NSW Government has announced further support for small businesses struggling with the challenges brought forward by COVID-19.

From July 1, the tax-free threshhold for payroll tax will be increased from $900,000 to $1 million, saving these small businesses up to $5,450 per year.

This tax relief follows last month’s announcement of a Small Business Recovery Grant, which offers eligible businesses up to $3,000 to assist businesses safely reopening their doors.
